Solar PV and Battery Installation Norfolk

Aspect Group Services successfully delivered a renewable energy upgrade for Sharrington Village Hall, installing a high-performance solar photovoltaic (PV) system with integrated battery storage. The objective was to significantly reduce the building’s energy costs, improve sustainability, and provide long-term energy resilience for the community facility.

Scope of Works:

  • Design, supply and installation of a roof-mounted solar PV system
  • Installation of battery storage and smart inverter technology
  • Integration with existing electrical infrastructure
  • Testing, commissioning and client handover

The installed system comprised of 16 Solar Infinity 455W photovoltaic modules, delivering a total generation capacity of 7.28 kW. This is supported by a FoxESS EP6 Plus battery storage unit with a capacity of 11.52 kWh, enabling efficient storage and use of generated energy.

The project was delivered within a tight three-day programme, demonstrating Aspect Group Services’ ability to efficiently mobilise resources and complete works with minimal disruption to an active community facility. Careful planning and coordination ensured safe working practices were maintained throughout, particularly given the live public environment. The project was concluded with full testing, commissioning and certification of the system to ensure compliance and operational readiness,

The completed installation has delivered significant financial and environmental benefits to Sharrington Village Hall. The system is projected to achieve a reduction in monthly electricity costs. This has resulted in a substantial reduction in reliance on grid-supplied electricity, supporting the Hall’s wider sustainability objectives. Furthermore, the inclusion of battery storage enables the facility to utilise stored energy during peak demand periods or potential outages, improving overall energy independence and resilience.
